About
Travis is fueled by his passion for helping people. When Travis first started working for a small provider organization in 2013, he immediately knew that he had found his calling working with those experiencing developmental disabilities. Travis’s outgoing personality, patient demeanor, humor and wittiness, and compassion for others made him a natural fit as a care provider. During the 5 years he worked for the previous organization, Travis earned himself a reputation for his outstanding work with his clients. He built many great relationships with brokerages, caseworkers, transitional programs, clients, and their families. In addition to these vital community connections, Travis also gained a great understanding of what it takes for an organization within this community to be successful and have a positive impact on those in need.
It didn’t take long for Travis to see that there was a massive need for more care providers within the community. So, in 2018, Travis opened his own agency- NW Adult Support. Travis’s goal for NW Adult Support was to create a team of care providers who are passionate about serving those who experience developmental disabilities and providing supports specifically catered to the goals and needs of each client that they work with. Since its inception, NWAS has continued to grow while still remaining committed to Travis’s original vision of providing quality, individualized care in a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Outside of work, Travis loves spending time with his wife, Shannon, and his daughter Georgia. Travis is an avid sports fan- he loves the Portland Timbers & the Green Bay Packers. He enjoys staying active by snowboarding, surfing, working out at the gym, and playing soccer. Travis also loves all things music- he enjoys going to concerts, singing, and playing the guitar and piano. He has a cat named Abigail, a french bulldog named Nora, and a 3 legged pitbull named Piper.
